Docs Ireland 5 Submissions – CLOSING FRIDAY 21 APRIL
We are inviting submissions for Docs Ireland 4 which will take place from the Tuesday 20th until Sunday 25th June 2023.
Throughout the festival we will present new and international documentaries, shorts and features, and will host industry events including a marketplace, pitching sessions, masterclasses, new talent focus and funding information events. Docs Ireland 5 Marketplace Applications – CLOSING FRIDAY 14 APRIL
The marketplace is an opportunity for filmmakers to meet one-to-one with leading international documentary industry decision makers, including international funders, broadcasters, distributors and exhibitors. It will take place during Docs Ireland 5 on Friday 23rd June 2023.
Applications are open to long form documentary films (50 minutes +) across all genres, and from any country. You must have at least one TV / digital / theatrical credit in documentary, although this can include shorter form.
The deadline for application is 5pm on Friday 14th April 2023. Successful projects will be announced on Friday May 27th. Click here for further info.

Northern Ireland Screen Feature Pitch returns to Docs Ireland 5
Docs Ireland and Northern Ireland Screen, in association with Yellowmoon Post Production, are offering a chance for documentary makers, from established filmmakers to new and emerging talent, to receive an award of up to £7,500 towards a pilot for a documentary feature. Established at Docs Ireland 2019, the Northern Ireland Screen Pitch is one of the festival’s flagstaff industry events and has ushered a wealth of non-fiction talent through the process of developing their feature documentaries. Visions Of Europe – best of European film at Queen’s Film Theatre – Mr Bachmann And His Class
We are delighted to be partnering with Visions Of Europe at Queen’s Film Theatre to present Mr Bachmann and His Class on Saturday 1 April at 1.30pm, Queen’s Film Theatre.
