First Events of Docs Ireland 2025

We have kicked off Docs Ireland 2025 with some incredibly unique events in venues across Belfast and even spreading out to Armagh for our first event!

Music For Domes @ Armagh Planetarium

On Friday 20th of June, Docs Ireland headed out of Belfast to Armagh Planetarium for the first ever screening of Hosta Project’s experimental, immersive documentary Music For Domes, with a wonderful drinks reception from McIvor’s Cider. We were joined by Dawn Richardson (director), Paul Doran (writer), Barry Cullen (composer), Chad Alexander (cinematographer/ Editor) and Jonathan Brennan (post-production and camera)

The screening was followed by a Q&A with Áine Walsh (Host), Méabh O’Hare (Director) Sharyn War (Irish Traditional singer), Niamh Dunne (singer and musician). We also had some gorgeous live music from Sharyn and Niamh.
